Draft FY 2019-2028 TIP Now Available For Review
In New Hampshire, each of the nine regional planning commissions prepares a Regional TIP every two years based on input from local municipalities, NHDOT and each planning commission’s Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC). This is concurrent with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and Ten Year Plan.
New Hampshire RSA 228:99 and RSA 240 require that NHDOT propose a plan for improvements to the State’s transportation system every two years. The purpose of the Ten Year Plan is to develop and implement a plan allowing NH to fully participate in federally supported transportation improvement projects as well as to outline projects and programs funded with State transportation dollars.
The draft Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the Central NH Region covering FY 2019-2028 is available for public observation and comment. The comment period will remain open until April 3, 2017. The draft document can be viewed at the link below. Copies of the draft document are also available for review at the CNHRPC office, 28 Commercial Street, Suite 3, Concord, NH 03301. Questions and comments should be directed to Dean Williams at (603) 226-6020 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
