Chapter 1: Bow Today and Tomorrow
Analyzing data in combination with the public outreach efforts, the story of Bow Today emerges and sets the framework for identifying what needs to be addressed now and in the future. There are two main parts to telling the story: where we are today and where we want to be going forward. Once we have an understanding of the present, we can look to the future with an understanding of our vision and what we want to accomplish.

Chapter 2: Implementation
Summarizes all of the recommendations contained in the plan into broad themes and categories that can be used for assessing future actions on implementation.

Chapter 3: Historical and Cultural Overview
Highlights local historic and cultural resources, their significance, and provides resources, recommendations, and tools to plan for their preservation, protection and enhancement.

Chapter 4: Housing
Identifies the current supply of housing in Bow and looks at housing capacity and demand as well as future needs based on emerging trends. The Chapter considers the Town’s development in the context of its ability to retain as much of its rural character as possible, while providing housing opportunities for families and individuals at different stages of their lives.

Chapter 5: Conservation, Preservation and Open Space
Describes the major elements of the natural features in Bow. The Chapter inventories existing resources and assesses the value and function of the natural system, within the context of public outreach comments.

Chapter 6: Community Facilities
Inventories and assess current Town departments, programs, and resources including adequacy of existing equipment and future equipment needs, current and long-term staffing needs, and long-term facility and service needs.

Chapter 7: Transportation
Provides an inventory and assessment of Bow’s transportation network, details sources of potential funding for projects, enhance alternative modes of transportation for the Town’s population, and provide recommendations to improve the existing transportation network and achieve the community’s transportation goals.

Chapter 8: Existing and Future Land Use
Identifies and explains present and preferred land use patterns in Bow. This Chapter will explore the policy framework that will support the desired physical elements of Bow.

Chapter 9: Regional Concerns
Highlights specific opportunities where Bow can become involved in issues that go beyond its borders and identifies a series of recommendations that builds on existing partnerships or creates new ones that can lead to positive outcomes for the Town.
